Tottenham Hotspur still have a chance of making it into the next round of the Champions League after an impressive 1-0 win over Inter Milan last night.
Spurs toiled for much of the game and with 10 minutes to go they got their just rewards. Dele Alli’s clever turn and pass played in Christian Eriksen on the run. The Dane placed a composed left-foot strike beyond Samir Handanovic and Tottenham picked up a deserved win.
They now face Barcelona on matchday six with the chance of making it through.

Whilst Alli will get the assist and Eriksen the goal marked next to their name, the key player for Spurs’ winner was actually Moussa Sissoko.
The Frenchman has been the butt of the joke for much of his Tottenham career. Never justifying his price-tag, he has struggled to have an impact.
It was something Arsenal fans have had great pleasure in revelling in. Gunners fans currently think they finally have their replacement to club legend Patrick Vieira in Lucas Torrreira. But Sissoko’s display was Vieira-esque last night. His driving run into the Inter box that started the move for the goal would have made the former Arsenal captain proud.
Signed for £30 million from Newcastle United, Sissoko has been on a slow cook. But he is on fire right now.
