Arsenal fans want Mikel Arteta to sign Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham

Arsenal are keen to sign Tosin Adarabioyo in the summer, according to The Athletic – and the Gunners supporters have been reacting on Twitter to the latest reports.

The Gunners are considering weighing up a move for the talented centre-back but could face competition.

Mikel Arteta knows all about Adarabioyo from his time at Manchester City and is now keen to add him to his Emirates Stadium rearguard.

Adarabioyo is 23 and that makes him a player with plenty of unfulfilled potential. Arsenal will lose David Luiz in the summer and a younger defender would be an ideal addition.

Celtic strike Premier Sports deal - is this the "additional value" we've been waiting for?

The Fulham man signed for the Cottagers last summer for £2 million. He has played 32 times for the club during 2020/21 and enjoyed a decent campaign – despite a struggle for the Londoners.

It wasn’t anticipated that he’d be a first-team regular at Fulham this season but he’s exceeded expectations – and a Premier League stay could be on the cards.

The 6ft 5in defender will have Premier League clubs and Bundesliga clubs after him, according to the report.

Given Fulham’s relegation, he won’t cost a fortune and his £60,000-a-week wage would be more than affordable for the Gunners.

It would seem as though the jury is out on this link, however, and supporters have been reacting on Twitter. There are plenty who would welcome him at the club though and we had a look at what they had to say.
