Arsenal fans want Mesut Ozil to be registered in January after latest loss

Arsenal were beaten by fierce rivals Tottenham yesterday and after the game supporters called for Mesut Ozil to be included in the squad when the registration window reopens.

The 32-year-old playmaker was left out of Arsenal’s squads for both the Premier League and Europa League at the start of the season.

Ozil can’t be reinstated until January at the earliest, although it’s fair to say the Gunners are struggling for a creative spark.

The 92-cap former Germany international might not be the answer but it seems reasonable to suggest that he’d be a good option from the bench.

Celtic strike Premier Sports deal - is this the "additional value" we've been waiting for?

Ozil is paid £350,000-a-week by the Gunners and it does seem perhaps bizarre that he’s not even been registered by Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal signed the maestro in 2013 and in 254 appearances for the Gunners he has scored 44 goals and registered 77 assists.

Some supporters have been pretty critical over Ozil’s attitude prior to Arteta leaving him out.

With that in mind, it remains to be seen whether or not the Spanish manager will back down and reinstate Ozil for the second half of the campaign.

The FA Cup holders are languishing in 15th place in the Premier League and certainly, something needs to change.

After yesterday supporters took to Twitter to question whether not Ozil could do a job.

Here is what Arsenal supporters were saying.
