Arsenal fans want Marc Roca signed after reports club have made an offer

Arsenal are reportedly interested in raiding Spanish side Espanyol to sign Marc Roca this summer, with The Gunners supposed to have made an offer for the midfielder – and supporters of the north London star has reacted on Twitter.

Spanish newspaper SPORT have claimed that Arsenal are interested in the Spain Under-21 international, and have made an offer. It is believed Roca is ‘close to leaving’, after changing his agents in the last few weeks.

The Espanyol academy graduate has already played 108 times at senior level for the Spanish side, who are struggling in Spain’s top tier this season despite qualifying for the Europa League last time around.

However, that has not put off Arsenal and neither has the fact that Roca has a release clause in his contract believed to be worth £35million. The Gunners are expected to be after a central midfielder in the upcoming window.

That is because Dani Ceballos – who was signed over Roca last summer on loan from Real Madrid – is expected to return to the Spanish giants. He has failed to impress enough to warrant a permanent move to north London.

Arsenal supporters reacted on Twitter to the news that Roca could be the next through the gates at Arsenal, and many believe the Spanish midfielder would be a top signing for the north London side.
