Arsenal face Slavia Prague in tonight’s Europa League quarter-final first leg and supporters are crying out for Gabriel Martinelli to start the contest.
The Gunners are at home first and will want to head to the Czech Republic next week with a lead in the bag.
Prague will provide a stern test for Mikel Arteta’s team having already knocked out Leicester and Rangers in this year’s competition.
Martinelli has endured a difficult season and has found himself a peripheral figure in the Arsenal ranks.
Last season he scored 10 goals during his maiden campaign in English football and supporters were desperately pleased with him.
Injury struck though and since then he has been bumped down the pecking order by Arteta.
He would dearly love a chance to prove a point to his boss in tonight’s game and supporters are in no doubt as to whether or not he starts the game.
Here is what the fan base is saying about the £90,000-a-week marvel ahead of tonight’s Europa League clash.
You deserve to play!!

Tell Arteta to start you tomorrow, Gabi. You're ready. You are pure and simply ready. Tomorrow is the perfect launching pad.

He can be our Mbappe. It's not about age. It's about talent and the kid is truly talented. If we don't play him now, we may experience another transfer like the Martinez one.
