Arsenal fans want Folarin Balogun to start against Rapid Vienna

Arsenal take on Rapid Vienna tonight knowing that a place in the last 32 of the Europa League is secured, with just a point required to mathematically claim the top spot.

Molde could go level on points with Arsenal if they win their last two games and the Gunners lose twice – although they will need a 14 goal swing to win the group.

With that in mind, some supporters are keen to see some changes made to the team tonight – with plenty hoping that Folarin Balogun is handed a start for the first time.

The youngster is valued at £15 million by the Gunners and scored his first goal for Arsenal last week against Molde.

Balogun, 19, has made two substitute appearances in the Europa League as Mikel Arteta aims to convince him the pathway to the first-team is clear.

The Hale End graduate has been stalling over a new deal but could change his mind if he knows first-team football is on the table.

Tonight could be the time for Arteta to unleash Balogun from the start and it’s certainly what the supporters want.
