Arsenal have been linked with a move for Roma forward Justin Kluivert, according to Goal, and their fans have been reacting on Twitter.

The Gunners will go in search of some new players during the summer with boss Mikel Arteta wanting to make his own mark on the squad.

It has previously been claimed by The Sun that the 21-year-old could be used in any deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan sign for the Serie A club.

That hasn’t transpired though but Arsenal might still have an interest in the player valued at £22.5 million by his current club.

Kluivert is likely to be available for transfer and it remains to be seen whether the Gunners can prise him to the Premier League.

The son of former Dutch hero Patrick signed for Roma in 2018 from Ajax but hasn’t quite developed as they might have liked.

Kluivert still has potential and he’s the type of player who Arteta might fancy getting the very best out of in future years.

During the 2019/20 campaign, he has netted seven goals and registered two assists from his 29 appearances.

As a left-winger, however, Arsenal fans feel they don’t need to sign Kluivert and have urged Arteta to switch his focus elsewhere.

Here is a selection of tweets from the Arsenal faithful regarding the links to the Dutch international.
