Scottish champions Celtic have confirmed the signing of defender Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo from Rapid Vienna on their official website.
They have confirmed he has signed a four-year deal at Parkhead and that he can play up and down the left hand side of the pitch.
He said: “It feels great to be part of this family. Hopefully we can win some more titles because I know that this club want to break some records. I heard last week and I directly said yes – you cannot say no to a club like Celtic.
“I played against Celtic already and it was always nice to play against them and now I can say I’m in the same shirt – it’s nice. It was a nice late birthday present – I can’t wait to see my new team-mates.”

But the announcement on the club’s official Twitter account also got the attention of Arsenal’s fans, because the Gunners are in hot pursuit of Kieran Tierney from Celtic.
Many supporters took to Twitter to say that they think that Mbombo is a direct replacement for Tierney and feel that them signing him has moved a step closer by the club confirming his arrival.
In a summer where a major senior arrival is yet to get through the door, Gunners fans will take small encouragement anywhere they can get it – even from another club’s Twitter account…
