A number of Arsenal fans have been left anxious after the latest Gunners training photos once again didn’t feature Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Arsenal host Premier League leaders Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium in the early kickoff of New Year’s Day.
Mikel Arteta’s charges are in great form, having won their last five games in all competitions.

In addition, Arsenal have scored 19 goals and conceded just two during that run.
However, Man City are in amazing form as well, and will be tough opposition for the Gunners.
Tomiyasu has made the right-back position his own in the Arsenal team and is now an indispensable player.
However, the 23-year-old tested positive for covid ahead of the Norwich game last time out.
There were official pictures of Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Calum Chambers and Cedric Soares from Friday’s session.
But worryingly, there were none of Tomiyasu.

The prospect of facing City without Tomiyasu has frightened some Arsenal fans:
That said, Tomiyasu didn’t feature in training-ground footage ahead of the Leeds game, and he ended up playing.
For all we know, Arsenal could unleash the Japan international against City after all.
But based on what we have right now – the Gunners training-ground photos – it’s still a bit concerning.
