Arsenal fans slate Mkhitaryan after poor performance in away loss against Wolves

Arsenal’s away form has held them back from securing a spot in the Premier League top four and in next season’s Champions League, that much is clear.

And their form on the road came to the fore again last night at Molineux, as they went down 3-1 against a rampant Wolves side, who love slaying a member of the top six.

A first half flurry put Arsenal to the sword and left their hopes of qualifying for Europe’s elite competition in the balance again.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has not done much to arrest the slump since coming in from Manchester United last January and is often guilty of going missing on the road.

His move to the Emirates has only been marginally more successful than Alexis Sanchez’s move to Manchester United and it appears that Gunners fans are running out of patience with the man who Spotrac claim earns £180,000 a week in north London.
