Arsenal manager Unai Emery will apparently put the fate of Granit Xhaka in the hands of his players.
The extraordinary situation has taken another turn, with The Telegraph now claiming the Spaniard will consult the dressing room over whether the Switzerland international should keep the captain’s armband.

The midfielder is in hot water after reacting angrily to fans, who jeered him as he trudged off the pitch during the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Xhaka cupped his ears and seemingly swore at supporters before removing his shirt and heading straight down the tunnel – a move that has sparked huge debate.
Many are livid with Xhaka for his actions, but some are also sympathetic towards a player who has been frequently criticised during his time at the club.

Apparently Emery will ask the players for their thoughts about the situation, just weeks after they all voted for him to be the new club captain.
