Arsenal fans react to William Saliba reports; plenty suggest same club for loan move

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Press Association (via The Independent) suggesting that William Saliba could be loaned to a Championship club – with plenty suggesting the same destination for the Frenchman.

Saliba looks to be in a difficult position as things stand. He has not made his debut for the Gunners in the early stages of the campaign.

And Arsenal’s task of finding a suitable loan move for the 19-year-old has become a little harder following Monday’s deadline.

It would be a surprising move. Saliba looked bright in pre-season. And there seemed to be incredibly high hopes for the teenager as he returned from his loan spell at St Etienne.

But there are actually plenty of Arsenal supporters who believe that it would actually be an incredibly smart move. Some are convinced that it could really help Saliba adapt to the English game.

There are a number of top flight players who have Brentford to, at least partially, thank for their development. And some would clearly like to see Thomas Frank’s men bid to take Saliba.

And if Brentford do come calling for a loan, some would also like Arsenal to use the interest in an attempt to perhaps take Said Benrahma in the opposite direction.

Here is how some of the fans have reacted to the reports concerning Saliba…
