Arsenal fans react to tweet by reported target Said Benrahma

The Algerian is clearly fancied as a summer signing by the Gunners faithful.

Said Benrahma scored Brentford’s goal in a 1-1 draw against Leeds United last night, but he could be lining-up for Arsenal next season.

The Algerian winger has been linked with a move to the Gunners, according to The Sun. It is thought that Brentford value their star man at £30 million (Team Talk).

Benrahma’s strike against Leeds was his ninth goal of the season and he also has six assists to his name.

Newcastle and Leicester City have also been linked with signing the 24-year-old who is set to become a wanted man when the summer transfer window opens.

Following last night’s game with Leeds, Benrahma took to Twitter to share a photo of him celebrating his goal:

The celebration saw him pay tribute to his father who recently passed away with a message on the garment underneath his shirt.

Following his tweet Arsenal fans decided to show their appreciation for the flamboyant Championship star by inviting him to sign for the Gunners in the summer.

It would appear looking at Twitter that he’d be a popular figure among the club’s supporters, with many hoping Mikel Arteta can land Benrahma.
