Arsenal fans have been reacting to a report the club have been in contact with winger Stephen El Shaarawy.
That is the shock claim made by Gianluca Di Marzio, who says the Gunners are one of a few teams to have made some enquiries about the 25-cap Italy international.

The 27-year-old is currently plying his trade over in the Chinese Super League with Shanghai Shenhua, having left AS Roma just over a year ago for a reported €16 million/£14 million (Football Italia), and will supposedly be permitted a loan move back to Europe until at least January.
Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be options.
Earlier in his career there was huge hype over El Shaarawy, who became known for his flair and trickery on the field.
His early years at AC Milan were particularly eye-catching, but the star struggled later on with various injuries.
He showed glimpses at Roma, but arguably has never really lived up to his billing.

Arsenal fans on social media have expressed their shock at the report that contact has been made.
According to the majority, there is no need for El Shaarawy, whose Chinese Super League adventure is somewhat off-putting given the drop in standard compared to Serie A and the Premier League.
