Arsenal fans react to rumours of renewed interest in Wilfried Zaha
Wilfried Zaha has been linked with a move to Arsenal for a number of years.
Arsenal fans are no strangers to rumours linking them with a move for Wilfried Zaha. Last summer, the Gunners were heavily linked with a move for the player.
However, Crystal Palace refused to budge on their asking price for the Ivory Coast international and Arsenal subsequently snapped up his international team-mate Nicolas Pepe from Lille.
Speaking to Rio Ferdinand on his Locker Room show a month ago, Zaha admitted he thought the idea of Arsenal chasing him was ‘amazing’ and that he remained open to a Palace exit in order to challenge for Europe and silverware.

Now, rumours of Arsenal potentially going back in for Zaha this summer are beginning to circulate.
They appear to stem from a Tweet from a journalist for Transfermarkt, who claimed that Zaha is itching for a move away from Selhurst Park and that Arsenal, along with several other Premier League rivals, will be looking into a potential deal.

Arsenal fans are fully aware there is long-term interest in Zaha and with the club clearly needing some new options in several areas of the pitch, Zaha could be a perfect addition.
However, others are perhaps of the belief that Zaha would not be a major improvement on the team or simply believe that this rumour has rumbled on long enough.
