Arsenal fans react to reports linking Aaron Ramsey with emotional return

According to Il BiancoNero, Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey would prefer to join Arsenal if he does decide to leave the Old Lady during the summer transfer window.

Ramsey joined the Serie A outfit on a free transfer during 2019 but has struggled to make an impact in Italy, struggling with a number of injury problems.

It’s a situation that isn’t really news to Arsenal fans. The Wales international was blighted with fitness concerns during his time at the Emirates Stadium.

The report claims that Ramsey would leave Juventus immediately if an offer from the Gunners was forthcoming – and supporters have been discussing that notion on Twitter.

It seems as though some supporters aren’t overly fussed about having the £187,000-a-week midfielder back at the club.

Ramsey made 371 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 65 goals and registering 65 assists for the North London-based outfit.

At Juventus, he’s scored just six goals and claimed half-a-dozen assists from 65 appearances.

Now 30-years-old, it seems as though some Arsenal fans would prefer the club to go in search of younger talents to revive their fortunes.
