Arsenal fans react to reported transfer deal involving Christian Eriksen

According to a report by Calcio News 24, Inter Milan are to make a swap deal to Arsenal involving Granit Xhaka and Christian Eriksen.

The Serie A club are keen to land the Gunners midfielder and are prepared to throw in the former Tottenham man.

Eriksen only signed for the Italians in January but a torrid time of things has seen him fall down the pecking order.

Xhaka has been at Arsenal since 2016, making 185 appearances for the Gunners and scoring 12 goals.

This season he has started five Premier League games; captaining the side twice in the Europa League.

He is paid £100,000-a-week at Arsenal and has a contract until 2023.

Eriksen has endured a nightmare time of things at Inter since his £16.9 million transfer from Tottenham.

He has played 33 games but has scored just four goals and registered three assists in Antonio Conte’s team.

Inter are now prepared to offload the £229,000-a-week Denmark international and hope to get a deal done in January.
