Sead Kolasinac has emerged as a shock target for Spanish champions Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo.
They report that the powerful 25-year-old is among an extensive list of players the Spanish giants have taken a look at as they wish to pick up greater competition for first choice Jordi Alba.
Ernesto Valverde’s side cantered to yet another title but fell short once more in the Champions League after a staggering collapse at the hands of Liverpool in the second leg of the semi-finals at Anfield.
And that has apparently created appetite for change at the Nou Camp – and Kolasinac could find himself brought in as part of it, shifting from the Europa League to the Champions League in the process.

But many Arsenal fans took to Twitter to express their disbelief that the elite club actually want Kolasinac. They’d be more than happy to see him go as Unai Emery looks to oversee a squad overhaul of his own in north London.
Kolasinac is a powerful runner but his end-product isn’t the best and the fact that Barcelona only see him likely as a backup is a fair indication of his ability.
