Arsenal fans react as reported £67m-rated target enjoys Sunday to remember

It was a night to remember for Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic last night. He played as Serbia defeated Portugal 2-1 to secure an automatic place at the World Cup in Qatar.

Vlahovic is a wanted man. Arsenal aren’t the only club vying for his signature, with Tottenham also firmly in the mix.

The 21-year-old is proving a revelation at Fiorentina. He has fired 10 goals already this season and bagged 21 times last season.

Naturally, that has alerted plenty of bigger clubs towards his talents. Vlahovic will be allowed to leave but only if a substantial bid is made.

The youngster is thought to be valued at £67 million, although Fiorentina may be forced into accepting less.

Vlahovic has a contract with the Serie A outfit until 2023 and if his head is turned, £67 million will become very ambitious indeed.

Last night proved a stunning night for Serbia. They scored in the 90th minute to send Cristiano Ronaldo and Co packing into the play-offs.

Vlahovic has a brilliant record of seven goals in 14 appearances for Serbia, although he wasn’t among the goals last night.

His performance did catch the eye, however, and Arsenal fans have had their say.

Vlahovic might be an ambitious signing for Arsenal at the moment. The Gunners aren’t in Europe and it seems certain that other clubs will be keen.

The youngster looks almost certain to leave though and that has got the juices flowing among supporters that he could head to Arsenal.

Here is what they had to say on Twitter after the Gunners target helped book his country a place in Qatar next winter.
