Arsenal fans react to Miguel Azeez loan report
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Football London claiming that the Gunners are unlikely to loan Miguel Azeez out for the coming campaign.
Azeez has once again been one of the most exciting talents in the Gunners’ pre-season so far.
He scored a superb goal against Watford. And he followed that with a sublime long-range finish for the under-23s shortly after.
It comes after he enjoyed an outstanding year with the youngsters. He also made his debut for Mikel Arteta’s men in the Europa League.
And it seems that Arteta is anticipating using the 18-year-old a lot more over the coming months.
According to Football London, Arsenal are unlikely to loan Azeez out for the coming season.
It certainly seems more than likely he would attract interest if he was available. So it is arguably quite the statement if Arsenal decide to keep him this season.
Interestingly, the reports have been met with a somewhat mixed reaction on social media.
‘Going the Foden route’: Arsenal fans react to Azeez loan reports
Some feel that he would benefit a lot more from a loan move. It appears that some have their doubts about Arteta using him enough.
But most seem excited about Azeez staying. They have extremely high hopes. And they think he could establish himself as a much more important player this term.
With that in mind, here is how some of the fans have reacted to the reports…

Better than Elneny

This is one kid with so much potential to fix us in the area that needs the most shoring on the pitch. His calmness on the ball is way ahead of his age and I sincerely hope Arteta does to him what Wenger did to Cesc. Baller, man 🤘🏼

Would argue that this is a bad decision. We’ve already got a reduced amount of game time this season and there’s no signal that Arteta would give him minutes over El Neny. https://t.co/q7Ll3Iard4

Would have liked a loan, but he absolutely can fit in to the first team. https://t.co/EqQHerSp0W
