Arsenal fans react to injury update on influential Thomas Partey

As if Arsenal’s form in the Premier League isn’t bad enough, it looks as though they’ll now be without Thomas Partey for at least the next few games.

The Ghana international has missed the club’s last three fixtures in all competitions after picking up a thigh injury during the 3-0 defeat against Aston Villa.

Partey checked in at the Emirates Stadium for £45 million during the summer, ending a long pursuit to secure his signature.

Arsenal are in dreadful form and languish 14th in the Premier League after yesterday’s 2-1 home defeat against Wolves.

Partey earns £200,000-a-week at the Emirates Stadium and will be a big loss to Arsenal whilst he recovers from his injury.

Naturally, supporters are mightily disgruntled that the Ghana captain is set to be on the sidelines for the next few games.

It’s a tougher one for the Gunners to take considering his injury record during his many years at Atletico Madrid was exemplary.

Arsenal are in desperate need of a boost on the bench with Mikel Arteta in urgent need of a few wins.

The injury to the 28-cap international hasn’t come at a great time and supporters have been reacting on Twitter.
