A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news confirmed by The Athletic that Thomas Partey is fit and available to face Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend.

Partey had seemingly been a doubt for the clash at Anfield. He missed the win over Watford before the international break.

And the 28-year-old ultimately did not end up joining up with the Ghana squad during the break. So some must have feared that he would be out of the side for the trip to Merseyside.

That would have been a big blow for Mikel Arteta’s men. After a difficult first season at the Emirates, Partey has looked a lot better this term. He has reminded many of why it seemed such a coup for the Gunners to bring him to North London from Atletico Madrid.

But The Athletic has noted that he is fit and available to take on the Reds.
