Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Samuel Chukwueze reports

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from La Razon claiming that the Gunners are one of the Premier League sides keen on Samuel Chukwueze.

The Nigeria international has scored four goals and provided five assists across La Liga and the Europa League for Villarreal this season.

Of course, his form has helped put Unai Emery’s men in the last four in Europe. And it is Arsenal standing between the Yellow Submarine and a place in the final.

So it is incredibly interesting that the Gunners have now been linked with a move for one of their most exciting players.

According to La Razon, Arsenal want the 21-year-old. But they face competition from West Ham and Everton, as well as Atletico Madrid.

It is noted that he has a release clause of around £69.5 million (€80 million). However, La Razon suggests that there is little chance that any side would get close to that sort of figure.

It does seem that the report has been met by a mixed reaction amongst Arsenal fans on social media.

Some do not believe that Mikel Arteta’s squad need another right winger. Meanwhile, others have suggested that there may be some mind games at play with next week’s tie in mind.

But some are clearly big fans of the youngster. So they will certainly be hoping that there is something in the reports ahead of the summer.
