A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Reiss Nelson’s performance as the Gunners booked their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League on Thursday.
There were plenty of eyes on one Gunners winger going into their clash with Molde following Nicolas Pepe’s red card at the weekend. The Ivory Coast international made a real statement by breaking the deadlock and producing an outstanding performance.

But on the other flank, Nelson ensured that he was not overshadowed by any means. The 20-year-old got the visitors’ second and he was a big threat all night.
In a lacklustre first-half, it was arguably Nelson who produced the most exciting display for Mikel Arteta’s men. He caused all sorts of problems for the Molde defence.

And he got his reward after the break. It was the youngster who got on the end of Joe Willock’s delicious cross towards the six-yard box.
It was another strong performance in Europe for Arsenal. They went through the gears in the second-half and highlighted just how much potential there is amongst some of their younger players.
And perhaps it would be fair to say that no youngster staked a stronger claim for more game-time than Nelson.
Several supporters took to social media to laud his display. And a few insisted that Arteta now has to hand him more game-time in the Premier League.
Here is how some of the fans reacted to Nelson’s performance in Norway…
