A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to slam Nicolas Pepe’s performance in the Gunners’ 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Mikel Arteta’s side remain unbeaten at the start of 2020. But they would have hoped that they could make it three wins from three at the start of this year.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put Arsenal ahead inside the first 12 minutes at Selhurst Park. But Jordan Ayew would equalise nine minutes into the second-half to ensure that the points would be shared.
Arsenal had chances to win the game late on. Pepe’s late effort was tipped onto the post by Vicente Guaita. The Palace goalkeeper then made a brilliant stop to deny Alexandre Lacazette the rebound.

And many Arsenal fans on social media appear to feel that that moment summed up a frustrating performance for the summer signing.
No Gunners starter boasted a worse pass completion record than Pepe, according to Whoscored.com. The Ivory Coast international found a teammate with just 14 passes.
No player completed more dribbles than Pepe, but only three of the six he attempted were deemed successful.
And it appears that many of the supporters feel that Pepe needs to step up significantly. His end product has been criticised by a number of fans. He has scored one goal since Arteta’s arrival.
And with Arsenal now facing up to Aubameyang being suspended, it is clear that plenty feel that the 24-year-old needs to do a lot more.
