Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Miguel Azeez loan reports

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Football London claiming that Miguel Azeez is set to leave on loan.

Azeez is arguably one of the most exciting prospects coming through at the Emirates. He has featured for the first-team, and he has been involved in a couple of pre-seasons with Mikel Arteta’s side.

Some fans may have been hoping that the 18-year-old would get the opportunity to make a Premier League debut this term.

However, those supporters may now be set for disappointment.

According to Football London, Azeez is at the Portsmouth training ground and is set to seal a loan move to the League One club.

It is noted that the lack of Europa League football is a factor behind their decision. Arsenal, of course, will not need to rotate their squad quite as much this season.

And it appears that the majority of Gunners fans are very much in favour of a move for the teenager.

Obviously, there is some disappointment. Some had hoped that Azeez would become a more prominent figure in Arteta’s plans this term. But many accept that a loan move is probably the best option in the long-term.
