Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Joe Gomez interest reports
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on recent reports from 90min suggesting that the Gunners would be interested in Joe Gomez if Liverpool are willing to sell.
Gomez has had to bide his time waiting for chances this season. He has started one game in the Premier League, Champions League and Carabao Cup.
90min reported that Gomez has grown frustrated with his lack of game-time. And it is suggested that he could consider his future at Liverpool – though, they are likely to have no interest in selling the 22-year-old.
But 90min suggests that the Reds’ £3.5 million signing would attract the attention of Arsenal and Tottenham if he did become available. And it is thought that he would prefer a move to London if he does leave Merseyside.
Interestingly, the reports have divided fans on social media. Some have suggested that there may be better options out there.
However, plenty have insisted that he would be a fantastic signing. Arsenal’s defence has caused Unai Emery’s men a number of problems this term, and some have claimed that he would be the perfect player to target should he become available.
Here is how some of the supporters have reacted to the reports…
Seeing we’re being linked to Joe Gomez. Wow, him and Saliba would be great ?

Joe Gomez is absolutely superb. The best prospect England have at centre back. Would be a top top signing if we could nab him. Upamecano, Gomez, saliba are 3 elite options, would allow saliba time to bed in.
