A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Emile Smith Rowe’s display as the Gunners secured back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since the first two weeks of the season with their victory on Tuesday.
Mikel Arteta’s men beat Brighton 1-0 at the Amex Stadium. It was Alexandre Lacazette who scored the winner shortly after coming on during the second-half.

The game saw Smith Rowe make only his second league start of the season after featuring in the win over Chelsea on Boxing Day.
And he once again managed to vindicate Arteta’s decision to include him with another hugely impressive performance against the Seagulls.

As shown by Whoscored.com, he made two key passes. Bukayo Saka was the only Arsenal player to contribute more during the win.
He almost had an assist after his good work down the left wing led to a chance for Gabriel Martinelli. The teenager came agonisingly close to finding his first goal of the season. But his effort went just over the bar.
And following the game, plenty of Arsenal fans took to social media to laud Smith Rowe. They have been seriously impressed with his performances when he has had a chance this season.
It is clear that many want Smith Rowe – who earns £20,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – to keep his place for the foreseeable future with several thinking that he is on his way to realising his significant potential.
Here is how some of the fans reacted to his performance…
