Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Denis Zakaria interest reports

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from 90min this week claiming that the Gunners are eyeing a bid for Denis Zakaria.

This summer is going to be a pivotal one for Mikel Arteta after a poor season. Unfortunately, 90min claims that he is set to be handed a limited budget ahead of the window.

And it appears that that has prompted them to take a fresh look at Zakaria. According to the report, he is set to leave Borussia Monchengladbach this summer with his contract expiring next year.

90min reports that Arsenal are planning a move. And it is claimed that they have considered including Granit Xhaka in a player-plus-cash bid for the 24-year-old.

Interestingly, 90min adds that Zakaria is deemed to be an upgrade on what Arsenal already have. It is also suggested that he is seen by some as the perfect partner for Thomas Partey.

The report has largely been met by a positive reaction amongst Arsenal fans on social media. Several believe that he would be a very good signing if he did arrive at the Emirates.
