Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Dani Ceballos’s display

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to laud Dani Ceballos’s performance in the Gunners’ 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on Monday night.

It proved to be a tough night for Mikel Arteta’s side. Despite taking the lead through Alexandre Lacazette during the first-half, they went into the break 2-1 behind.

The Gunners struggled to break out of their own half for much of the first 45 minutes. And in truth, they were probably content with only being one goal behind going into the interval.

However, Arsenal seemed to find another gear in the second-half. Lacazette had a couple of fantastic opportunities to find an equaliser. And Arteta’s men had a lot more success at applying pressure of their own.

He made some excellent passes. And if Arsenal were going to find a way back in before Liverpool’s third, it looked destined to come from the summer signing.

Many Arsenal fans took to social media to suggest that Ceballos was one of the few players who could be pleased with their performance on Merseyside.

Arteta has got little wrong since taking charge at the Emirates. But it is clear that plenty of the supporters felt that not starting Ceballos was an error based on the impact he made after he came on.

Here is how some of the Arsenal fans reacted to Ceballos’s performance at Anfield…
