Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Dani Ceballos move reports

Arsenal are seemingly on the verge of making yet another statement under Mikel Arteta, with the Guardian amongst those reporting that Dani Ceballos is set to return to the Emirates for another loan move.

Holding onto Ceballos looked set to be a key piece of business for the Gunners this summer. The Spaniard was outstanding during the latter stages of last season after an admittedly underwhelming start to his stay in North London.

However, there appeared to be a major question mark over Ceballos’s future. Spanish outlet AS reported last month that parent club Real Madrid were planning to keep him throughout pre-season before making a decision on their plans for him.

But it seems that the decision that they have come to is good news for the Gunners.

According to the Guardian, Ceballos is set to return for another loan this week. It is suggested that Arteta phoned the 24-year-old to try and convince him to come back.

‘Massive news’

Unsurprisingly, the news has gone down incredibly well amongst some of the Arsenal fans on social media.

The Gunners have developed rapidly under Arteta. And adding Ceballos to the side that edged Liverpool in the Community Shield at the weekend is an exciting thought for many.

It remains to be seen what the long-term future holds for the midfielder, but there is no question that many Arsenal fans are absolutely delighted that he looks set to return this season.
