Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Bukayo Saka’s display

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Bukayo Saka’s display as the Gunners had to settle for a disappointing draw with Fulham.

Mikel Arteta’s men appeared to experience a hangover from their superb win in the Europa League in the week.

A number of their players seemed to struggle against Scott Parker’s side. And they were punished for not creating more as Josh Maja scored a second-half penalty that looked set to deliver a vital three points to the visitors.

However, Eddie Nketiah scrambled home an equaliser in stoppage-time to ensure that Arsenal got the draw.

Several of the Gunners squad seemed to come in for criticism on social media after what proved to be a lacklustre display. But one member of the side who did receive some praise from the supporters was Saka.

While Saka was not at his best, he seemed to be the player dragging Arsenal back into the game. His work-rate was outstanding, and he did threaten to create some brilliant chances for the home side at the Emirates.

He also came agonisingly close to scoring a stunning equaliser before Nketiah did find the back of the net. He curled a delicious effort from long range that just whistled past the post.

And although some were seemingly not as impressed, many felt that Saka deserved a lot of credit for doing all he could to inspire the Gunners back into the game.

With that in mind, here is how some of the Arsenal fans reacted to Saka’s display on Sunday…
