A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Bernd Leno’s performance after the Gunners beat Everton 3-2 at the Emirates on Sunday.
Mikel Arteta’s men have now won three games in a row. However, it initially appeared that their recent unbeaten run was going to come under threat as the visitors broke the deadlock early on.

And after Arsenal had turned the game around, Richarlison equalised for the Toffees just before the break. Once again however, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would stick the home side back in front.
Leno could have perhaps done better for Everton’s second goal as the ball squirmed under him and over the line. However, any criticism of the goalkeeper was put to bed during the second-half.

The German made an incredible, point-blank save from Dominic Calvert-Lewin late on when Arsenal were looking to see out the game. And he also managed to make a fantastic clearance when the Toffees looked set to have a fantastic opportunity.
And plenty of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to laud Leno’s performance. The stopper has arguably been incredibly consistent throughout the campaign. And there is no question that he has produced some big performances along the way.
Sunday’s display was arguably one of those. Some suggested that he was unlucky not to win the man of the match award. And others noted how underrated Leno seems to be.
