Rob Holding looks set to be on his way out of Arsenal this summer, with Newcastle United preparing to take the defender on loan (Daily Mail).
With Gabriel Magalhaes set to sign for the Gunners, it would seem that Holding will be deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium.
Steve Bruce will want to reshape his squad ahead of the new season and the English defender could be an ideal signing for the Magpies.
Holding earns £25,000-a-week at Arsenal and in recent seasons he has struggled with a series of injury problems.

Since signing for the club in 2016 he has played 78 games for the Gunners scoring twice.
Holding came through the ranks at Bolton Wanderers and at 24-years-old there is plenty of scope for him to improve.
With that in mind, it will remain to be seen whether Holding can have a long-term future at the club if he is loaned out this season.
Arsenal fans have been reacting to the latest link on Twitter and the general consensus seems to be that he should be allowed to leave.
Here is a selection of Tweets from the Gunners faithful as Holding continues to attract interest from interested parties.
