A number of Arsenal fans have taken to comment on reports from 90min suggesting that Leicester City are eyeing a move for Kieran Tierney – and it appears safe to say that few are expecting the Gunners to sanction a summer exit.
Tierney has endured a disappointing and frustrating first season at the Emirates. He has spent a large portion of the campaign sidelined due to injury.
He has made just 11 appearances in all competitions, with the most recent coming back in early December.
And it has been suggested that Arsenal may be open to letting him go at the end of the season.
According to 90min, the £25 million signing is attracting the Foxes’ attention as Brendan Rodgers considers possible replacements for Ben Chilwell.
Interestingly, the report notes that Arsenal would be prepared to let Tierney go provided that they make their money back.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it appears that plenty of Gunners fans are not buying the idea that Mikel Arteta would be open to letting Tierney go in the summer.
Admittedly, a couple of supporters – likely frustrated with his lack of game-time coupled with the emergence of Bukayo Saka – have admitted that they would not be against a possible sale.
But the large majority appear to have no interest in seeing Tierney leave. And they are hoping that there is nothing in the reports.
Here is what some of the Arsenal fans make of the reports…
