Arsenal fans react on Twitter as Konstantinos Mavropanos signs new contract

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the news that the club confirmed on their official website concerning Konstantinos Mavropanos.

Mavropanos’s future had looked set to be an important issue for Mikel Arteta heading into the summer. He had impressed during his loan spell at Nuremberg in Germany’s second tier this past season.

And he is now set to return to the country – but at a higher level.

Arsenal have confirmed on their official website that Mavropanos has joined Stuttgart on a season-long loan.

The club have also confirmed that the 22-year-old has signed a new contract at the Emirates.

The news that Mavropanos has signed a new deal has gone down extremely well amongst the supporters on social media – although it must be mentioned that some fans are disappointed to see a contract announcement not concerning Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Plenty are excited to see Mavropanos tied down for a long time. They believe that he boasts a lot of potential, and they are excited to see how much he has developed after a year in the Bundesliga.

And they have applauded the club for being proactive and ensuring that he is set for stay for a long time. They are hopeful that he is going to be a key man for Arsenal in the coming years.
