Arsenal fans react as Zlatan Ibrahimovic weighs on Henrikh Mkhitaryan comments

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has weighed in on Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s Arsenal future on Twitter, after the Armenian reportedly told The Gunners that his future at the club is over – and Gunners fans have responded to Ibrahimovic.

Mkhitaryan, 31, is currently on loan at Roma from Arsenal. The Armenian veteran has netted six goals in 17 games, and laid on  four assists. Such form has seen Paulo Fonseca admit publicly that he wants to keep Mkhitaryan.

Italian outlet Correire Dello Sport have claimed that Mkhitaryan has informed Arsenal that his “time in north London is over”. The same report claims Arsenal are willing to accept offers worth just £8.7million for the ex-Dortmund star.

However, Mkhitaryan’s agent Mino Raiola – who is renowned for being one of the footballing world’s most powerful influences when it comes to transfers – described CDS’ claim as “fake news”. But Ibrahimovic has now weighed in, disagreeing with Raiola.

Now 38 years of age, Ibrahimovic is out of contract at the end of the season after returning to AC Milan where he has scored four goals in 10 league and cup appearances. His future is yet to be decided this summer.

Arsenal supporters reacted to Ibrahimovic’s Tweet with many asking what on Earth was going on – while some believe he should move to north London, while Mkhitaryan moves away.
