Arsenal youngster Zane Monlouis has today penned his first professional contract with the Gunners and supporters have taken to Twitter to congratulate him on the achievement.
The 17-year-old has risen through the youth ranks and has now been rewarded for his efforts.
Monlouis is an England youth international and recently played for the under-17 ranks during a 2-0 win over the Czech Republic.
The defender typically plays as a centre-back and has been a regular for the club’s under-18 ranks so far this season.
Monlouis is extremely composed in possession and is working on the art of playing out from the back.

That aspect of his game will certainly please Mikel Arteta as his career progresses, with the Spaniard keen for his senior defenders to work from the back.
Arsenal have a proud history of calling upon their younger talents and the club has moved quickly to tie down Monlouis.
The Gunners head to Austria to play Rapid Vienna tomorrow night. That competition, in particular, is one where Arteta might call on his younger players.
For now, Monlouis must continue learning his trade with the youth ranks and see how far he can push himself.
