Football legend Xavi has entered the world of football management and is open to taking over the reigns at Arsenal among other Premier League sides – which has prompted enormous reaction from Gunners fans on Twitter.
Now 39 years of age, Xavi has retired from professional football after spending the last four years of his illustrious career in Qatar with Stars League side Al-Sadd. He scored an impressive 25 goals in 115 games for the middle eastern side.
Following his retirement, the Spain and Barcelona icon took over as manager of the club and has started in excellent form as manager. Eight games in, Xavi has suffered defeat just once – and won six matches.
Speaking to Sky Sports about his managerial future, Xavi admitted that returning to manage Barcelona is his dream. But if he was to manage in the Premier League, he would consider Arsenal, as well as both Manchester clubs, Chelsea and Tottenham.

“If I had to choose, I would choose a big team, [Manchester] City or United, Chelsea, Arsenal or Tottenham,” Xavi said.
Unai Emery is coming under intense pressure despite guiding Arsenal to fourth in the Premier League table after six league games, and masterminding an excellent 3-0 win away at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League.
However, a dismal point against Watford that saw the Hornets register 31 efforts at goal in the second half, before scraping past newly-promoted Aston Villa has piled the pressure on Emery. Arsenal fans reacted to the prospect of Xavi in charge.
