Arsenal fans react as Watford eye Eddie Nketiah
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mirror over the weekend claiming that Watford want Eddie Nketiah.
It would be little surprise to see Nketiah leave the Gunners this summer. The 22-year-old made just four starts in the Premier League this past season.
He did manage to score a couple of goals – that won Mikel Arteta’s men three points. But he failed to stake a particularly strong claim for more game-time.
As reported by the Daily Mirror, his contract with the Gunners expires next summer.
And the report has suggested that Watford are keen on signing the England under-21 international as they prepare for their Premier League return.
The Mirror notes that Arsenal would want more than £15 million for Nketiah. But the notion that they may be open to selling for around that sort of price has left many supporters feeling frustrated.
Admittedly, his contract situation does not leave the Gunners in the best position.

However, several fans are adamant that he is worth more. Some have pointed to the £23.5 million Liverpool got for Rhian Brewster last summer as reason for Arsenal to hold out for more.
Nketiah has more top flight experience than Brewster had. And he has also been outstanding at international level.
So many are insistent that Arsenal cannot consider a figure of around £15 million as he could be worth a lot more…
£15m they can’t be serious

If Brewster went for £24 million, Nketiah should be going for more as he has PL games under his belt
