Lille striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly ready to turn down a move to Italian giants Napoli this summer as he awaits a potential move to Arsenal – and Gunners fans have urged their club to take action.
Osimhen, 21, is likely to be one of the most expensive transfers of the summer window after netting an impressive 18 goals in 38 games for Lille last season. The Nigeria international scored twice in five Champions League games.
Football Italia claim a £40million fee and a ‘huge’ salary had been agreed between Napoli, Lille and Osimhen but it appears the former Charleroi attacker has decided to reject a move as he is holding out on a transfer to the Premier League.

Namely, the versatile African is desperate to join either Arsenal or Manchester United in the coming months. The Gunners certainly have a strong rapport with Lille, having paid £72million to sign Nicolas Pepe last summer.
Osimhen is hardly likely to join the Gunners should both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remain. The latter could sign a new deal, but L’Equipe claim Juventus and Atletico are in talks for Lacazette.
Arsenal supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Osimhen is waiting on a potential move to north London – or Manchester United – and many have urged their club into action.
