Arsenal fans have been cursing their luck once again as Thomas Partey was confirmed as being missing for at least the next three weeks of the season.

The Ghana midfielder will now miss most of the opening month of the campaign. Arsenal confirmed the news yesterday, with Partey being ruled out thanks to an injury picked up against Chelsea in pre-season.

Rotten luck

The injury to Partey is the latest in a long line of niggles and knocks he’s picked up since arriving in England. A top midfielder on his day, Partey simply hasn’t been able to show it consistently.

And with just Albert Lokonga signed and Granit Xhaka still here, it looks like Arsenal’s midfield won’t be getting much better any time soon.

Arsenal fans, then, have been responding on Twitter to the news.

While some feel three weeks is not as bad as it could have been, most Gunners feel it’s another case of bad luck. And with the squad looking thin and no new signings near, Arsenal fans are getting worried.

Here, then, is what was said on Twitter about Partey’s latest injury.
