Arsenal are being linked with midfielder Yves Bissouma from Premier League rivals Brighton – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter believe he could be a great addition at the Emirates Stadium.

According to talkSPORT, Arsenal and Liverpool are both considering potential moves for the 24-year-old when the January transfer window opens next month.

It is understood that both teams are contemplating bids for the central midfielder after his strong individual start to the season, with Gunners manager Mikel Arteta a big admirer or his.

Bissouma joined Brighton back in 2018 for £15million (Sky Sports) from Ligue 1 side Lille and during that time he has become an important player at the Amex Stadium under manager Graham Potter.

The Mail international is a combative enforcer that usually plays in a disciplined defensive midfield role, as he’s great at covering in front of the back four with his reading of the game and tackling ability.

But on the flip side he’s usually forward-thinking when in possession and has got a great stamina that suits Premier League football.
