Arsenal fans react as Shkodran Mustafi reportedly offered to Inter Milan

Arsenal have reportedly offered Shkodran Mustafi to Inter Milan as they try to bring in some cash for the out-of-contract defender this month – and Gunners fans have responded on Twitter.

Mustafi, 28, has entered the last six months of his contract at Arsenal and looks set to leave the Gunners in 2021. Whether a move happens this month or in the summer remains to be seen, but there are clubs interested.

Italian outlet FCInterNews have claimed that Arsenal have offered 20-time Germany international Mustafi to Antonio Conte’s Inter – a move that the player is believed to be interested in.

However, it remains to be seen if Inter are interested in the former Valencia and Everton defender. The report claims Genoa, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are also keen on Mustafi – but have seen proposals for the Arsenal man rejected.

With Mustafi being offered to Inter and the player keen, a move to the Nerrazzuri stands a real chance of happening. Inter might want a defender that can play at right-back and in the middle with Danilo D’Ambrosio injured.

Arsenal supporters have responded on Twitter to the reports that Inter Milan have been offered the chance to sign Mustafi. Gunners fans have backed a move, and some have even suggested a swap.
