Arsenal are keeping tabs on Southampton defender Ryan Bertrand, according to the Evening Standard.
The Gunners boss Mikel Arteta hinted last week that he could move for another left-back as competition for Kieran Tierney.
Tierney has been brilliant this season and it seems likely that any new arrival would play second fiddle to the ex-Celtic man.
Arsenal are already planning ahead for the summer and a left-back is high on the list of priorities.
Southampton are facing a tricky situation with one of their prized assets.

The England man has just six months left on his contract and could leave the club for free at the end of the season.
Bertrand arrived at St Mary’s in 2014 and left Chelsea with a Champions League winners medal to his name.
The 31-year-old has played 224 times for the Saints and is deemed very much a key figure in Ralph Hasenhuttl’s team.
His experience could make him a decent signing and on a free transfer, he’d be a welcome addition to Arteta’s ranks.
Following the latest news, Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter.
It appears some would take the £70,000-a-week ace, especially considering he wouldn’t cost anything.
Some aren’t so keen, however, and are firmly against Bertrand arriving in North London.
