Rob Holding has committed his future to Arsenal by signing a new long-term contract to stay at the Emirates Stadium.
The centre-back has played 18 times in all competitions this season, becoming a mainstay in Mikel Arteta’s team.
Holding has been with the North London-based club since 2016 when he signed from Bolton Wanderers for £2 million.
During his time with Arsenal he has endured some rotten luck with injuries and even this campaign he’s missed a few games with a hamstring problem.

In large he has come of age during 2020/21, however, becoming instrumental to Arteta’s plans.
The homegrown player has made 96 appearances for the club, scoring two goals.
At 25 there is still time for him to continue improving and it would seem as though Arsenal fans are pretty pleased to see him commit his future.
Holding was linked with a move away from the Gunners during the summer.
Several clubs were thought to be interested, although nothing concrete emerged in the way of offers.
The decision to keep him around – and use him in the first-team – looks like a good one from Arteta’s point of view.
Following news that Holding has signed a new deal, here is what Arsenal fans were saying about the deal.
