Arsenal fans react as reports link Sander Berge with Emirates Stadium switch
The Sheffield United player has been a standout performer despite their struggles this season.
Arsenal are still interested in signing Sheffield United’s midfield maestro Sander Berge, according to Norwegian outlet VG.
The youngster arrived at Bramall Lane for £20 million during the January transfer window – but that hasn’t deterred Arsenal from the international.
Chris Wilder’s team have just a point from their nine games this season and are staring down the barrel of a return to the Championship.
Other clubs have the player on their radar, although it’s Arsenal who seem to have the 22-year-old firmly in their sights and they could make a move.

He has played a starring role in Wilder’s team this season, starting eight of the club’s nine Premier League encounters.
The 24-time Norway international was particularly impressive during a 2-1 defeat against Liverpool, with the player scoring his only goal of the campaign.
Arsenal have endured an inconsistent start to the campaign, drawing 0-0 with Leeds United in their latest outing.
Following the links to Berge interest, supporters have been discussing the potential move on Twitter.
Plenty feel as though he’d be a decent addition and are calling on Arteta to make a deal happen in the near future.
Here is what Arsenal fans are saying about the Norway international.
Very good player. Would take him in a heartbeat

Ceballos gone next summer, Elneny & Xhaka not good enough to win us a title. Berge – Partey would be class.

He is the type that we need…get him…

He would be a great signing playing him in a double pivot with Thomas

Quality player, but not the solution to the Arsenal problem. Arsenal has internal, undisclosed problems. Sort that out first.
