Arsenal fans react as report suggest Ek's could buy club off Kroenke for £2bn
Arsenal fans are starting to feel some hope that the club could be bought by Daniel Ek despite the Swedish billionaire recently revealing that an offer was rejected by Josh Kroenke.
The Guardian report that Stan Kroenke could be willing to sell Arsenal if an offer of £2bn was submitted before him, with the Telegraph claiming that Ek’s rejected bid was valued at £1.8bn, with the Spotify owner taking to Twitter to confirm that he is still interested in buying the north London club despite this first stumbling block.
Support is mounting for Kroenke to sell the club to Ek following the American businessman’s involvement in the now collapsed European Super League, and fans on social media were excited to read this latest update that could see the Swedish billionaire take ownership of the north London side in the near-future.
Here’s what some Arsenal supporters had to say on Twitter about Kroenke’s £2bn valuation of the club…

EO strategy is on point. Put in a bit get them to reject it. Build the pressure and when they are ready get them to give a price ….
