Many Arsenal fans have been flying the flag for Unai Emery’s dismissal in the last few weeks, and some of those fans are even keener to see that happen having discovered how much it would cost the club.
The Spaniard signed a two-year deal when he replaced Arsene Wenger in the summer of 2018, and there is an option of an additional year.

Were Arsenal to stick by him until the end of the season then, per the terms of the original contract, they wouldn’t have to pay any compensation to get rid of him.
The Express say that if they wanted to relieve him of his duties now, it would cost in the region of £4 million.
It is thought Emery earns around £6 million-a-year at the Emirates – to let him go now, they’d have to pay him up to the end of the season.
