Arsenal fans react as report links Gunners with move for Boulaye Dia

Arsenal fans have been reacting to a report that has claimed the Gunners could make a January move for Reims striker Boulaye Dia.

Le10 Sport have reported that Arsenal are in the hunt for the 3-cap Senegal international, who has been making a big impression in the French top-flight in 2020/21.

With eight goals in 12 games, he tails only Kylian Mbappe (10) in the top scorers chart.

Dia has certainly caught the eye for Reims, who will surely want to keep hold of the 24-year-old as they seek to secure safety this season having just come up from Ligue 2.

At the moment they are second-bottom having take 10 points from 14 games.

Over in the Premier League, Arsenal have also been struggling in 2020/21.

Last night the Gunners lost at home to Burnley 1-0, and the pressure is beginning to mount of Mikel Arteta.

One of the biggest concerns is the sudden inability to score goals, with the team having bagged just 10 so far – only Burnley, West Brom and Sheffield United have managed fewer.

It is, therefore, unsurprising to see a new striker being linked with a move.
